Pollyanna and Pork Pie Hats
Every 4th of July I get super excited because it is an excuse to wear my pork pie hat. Wearing it makes me feel like I'm at the carnival in the movie Pollyanna. Best party of all time. If I could choreograph any scene in any movie, I swear it would be this one. Here's a tribute...

MK, you are such an absolute hoot. I just played that Pollyanna clip all the way thru, all 7:13 of it. Totally surreal. I've probably seen it as a child, I love all things Hayley Mills, but they all blend together. She was also in a really spooky film (or did I dream it?) called Thumblina - with a yellow cat???

ReplyDeleteI remember watching Polyanna as a child and I always wanted that yellow dress she wore the whole time or is that just me? ;)
